The dissertation delves into how transparency and integrity policies directed at media companies can safeguard their main assets: credibility and independence. She aims at assessing the impact it would have on these assets if the media companies would make public, through their news sites, essential information variables such as ownership, economic information, governance and the process each media follows to create and publish the news.
